Florida Oral & Facial Surgical Associates: Dr. Akers

I needed information from a blood test that Dr Akers had done. May he rest in peace. And it never happened and I have very very brittle bones that need to be taken care. I need to get on something to strengthen my bones ASAP.. Please don't take this and be offended but I need to say this because, I want Autumn the young lady who answered the phone to me this time to get the credit she deserves for being excellent at what she does she immediately found the solution and took care of the problem and I got my results which were extremely important to my health and it's like no one cared except this young lady. Had a wisdom tooth removed today. My first time. I did local anesthesia which I was nervous about, but the doctor and nurses were very informative, kind, and patient with my nerves. The doctor took my situation very seriously which I can appreciate, because I get very anxious. I look forward to my next appointment as I know I’ll be taken care of.

I was not treated very nicely, the doctor looked in my tearing eyes and asked me if I wanted him to guess which tooth needs to be pulled. At which point I said I just wanted the pain to stop. At which point he sent me for a $300 x ray which I came with one take the day before. From doctor. To billing not a very nice experience. Unless you have money to waste this entire operation isonly in it for the money, They tried to charge me 2 or 3 times for the same thing only in different words. Absolutely no regard for me my health or my mental health.

This guy is the most professional surgeon and my experience with two dental surgeries was absolutely ideal. I didn't have any pain at all and I'm very happy with the results. I wish all my dental experiences could have been this good.

My husband and I have both been patients of Dr Akers and have both been very happy with him and his entire staff. Every experience we have had has been above excellent. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing oral surgery work.
