Freedom Urgent Care- Urgent Care (Temple)

I stopped in yesterday with an upper respiratory problem. This is a brand new facility. Everyone was extremely nice and professional. I was impressed with the efficiency of the office. The front desk, nurse, and provider were all very nice and did a great job. I was tested for flu and COVID for precaution with my symptoms. Turned out to be an upper respiratory infection. I was happy that it wasn't anything more serious. I was given a steroid shot and some meds for my cough. Thanks Freedom urgent care!

I had a great experience here. From check-in to being seen, everyone was friendly, professional, and very thorough. They answered all my questions and didn’t make me feel rushed. This is an excellent option when you can’t get in with your PCP. I would absolutely recommend them.

Was seen here a few weeks ago and I have to say I highly recommend them… Maniya, the CMA there is amazing and NP Velda is very knowledgeable. She knows what she’s talking about. I had been sick for two weeks. Went to my local hospital they didn’t help me with anything I continued to be sick. Decided to come be seen here NP Velda prescribed me the correct medication and I was feeling better and back to normal in no time.

First time i visited the Temple,Tx location on 31st, it was ok….didn’t feel very welcome. Second time,New Years day,2026,was worse. I was the only one waiting,then a new patient came in,and did new patient paperwork. Next person to be called was the new patient. I stood up,and the front desk said she accidentally put her file before mine. I had already been there,20 min before the new one walked in. I am 57 yrs old,and clearly see that it was sexist/racist. Will never go back to this place. I ealked out,and figured i would get a call,but nothing.

NP Hilary was WONDERFUL! The ladies at front desk and who took my vitals were also amazing. I felt so cared for and they genuinely listened. Came in feeling bad and left feeling a lot better. This location also has an x-ray on site which is a plus.
