Garden View Care Center of O'Fallon- Skilled Nursing with Memory Care

During the most difficult time our family has ever faced, Garden View Care Center in O'Fallon became a sanctuary of comfort and dignity for my mother. Sydney, Jim, Amanda, Brandi, Jackie, Nico, and so many others whose names grief has stolen from my memory—every single member of this staff treated my mother with such tender, loving care as she prepared for her final journey. Because of their compassion and attentiveness, my mother's passing was peaceful. That is a gift beyond measure. To everyone at Garden View: you do sacred work. My family and I are eternally grateful.

I’m here following a broken ankle and needing rehab services. I chose Garden View because I’ve been here before and treated like a human. Therapy team is great! Supportive and encouraging!! No one hesitates to help. My room is clean and many of the nursing team members are attentive and responsive to my needs. Linda, the Administrator, has her office in the main hallway and she is very accessible. Dana and Jean are also accessible and knowledgeable. Most important, I got my Rice Krispies every night! Thank you to Garden View for another successful stay!

After my recent hospital stay Gardenview ended up being an unexpected experience. From the Chef to the therapist, nursing staff and the doctor who followed my care. I felt taken care of, supported, had lots of laughs and they worked my butt off to get me back home. Everyone was friendly, attentive, the food was good and surprisingly it did NOT smell like a “nursing home”. Everyone was great but some extra thanks to Mallory, Nikko, Megan, Camille, Sarah and Michele. I was not one to come out of my room for activities but they always invited me anyways. The activities director brought me in things that I enjoy doing to do in my room and keep busy. I thank and appreciate them all. I am now back home and doing well!

Garden View was a lifesaver when it came to the care of my Grandfather. When we realized we needed skilled nursing help and a facility where he could work through therapy the entire staff all banded around and was able to get him admitted the next morning. Every member of the team was committed to giving the best care possible while coordinating with our family and ensuring we had the supports we needed. All of my coworkers and friends and church have spoke highly of Garden View for years and we now see that the appreciation is well deserved.

Dana in social services is AMAZING!!! She has been the social service director for multiple years. She is a wealth of knowledge and truly cares about her patients/residents. Trying to find someone like her in nursing facilities are becoming more and more rare. Thank you Dana for all your help!!!!
