Gardens Drugs, West Palm beach, Medical Equipment and Compounding Pharmacy

It is a compounding pharmacy that we have been relying on for many years. It also. Of course, it is a full pharmacy. They also have a lot of medical and post surgery supplies. Canes. Knee scooters, Wheelchairs. Cast covers. And lots of other supplies that you generally do not find at a traditional chain pharmacy. They also rent items. The pharmacist is very nice and we have consistently been pleased with their service.

This is my hometown pharmacy which right across the street from Walgreen's where I used to fill all of my prescriptions over the years. I first used Gardens only for compounding 1 medication but very quickly transferred the two others I had with Walgreens. Tappens (sp) is the pharmacist and he will go out of his way to answer questions and the other pharmacy staff is always friendly. If your prefer a personalized experience over long lines, unreturned phone calls, and a "you're lucky we're even talking to you" attitude by overworked mega pharmacy employees who don't seem to have time to care, and of course, if you need a medication compounded or medical equipment, this is the place to go first.

No fuss pharmacy/medical supply store. The staff was busy behind the counter both times I went but as soon as I waved they were very attentive! Tapan is the Manager and was very knowledgeable about the products.

I never write reviews, but after a hectic move I completely forgot to get my refill on my prescription. I called them and they were able to fill it for me same day, which I know it’s not realistic for compounding pharmacies! Extremely grateful I was able to get my medication before I leave for my work trip today. Such a big help, thank you!!!

This is the worst compounding pharmacy I've ever dealt with. They knew I had no refills on my medication 3 months ago and didn't bother to try to get it filled. It took a week to get the prescription renewed which has never happened before with my doctor. Then I had to wait another 4 days for them to ship it. Despite letting them know my current address l they sent it to an old address which I didn't realize until after it arrived. It is now 2 weeks since I contacted them and I don't have any medication at all which is causing me substantial medical problems. The pharmacy agreed to send out a new RX at no charge however, Chris, pharmacist and owner refused to send it overnight. Given that it's a holiday weekend it won't come until sometime next week.
