Gastro Health - W. Colonial

I am new to Florida and found this office. Needed a colonoscopy per my doctor as I routinely have them due to family history of cancer and I have a history of polyps. Very nice nurse practitioner that I met with and scheduled my procedure. Billing cleared with my insurance and I was given paperwork that stated $0 out of pocket cost. Procedure day went fine, nurses were very friendly. The Dr barely spoke to me and I had never met him. After my colonoscopy I woke up, put on clothes and sent out the door. No drink offered, nothing. Which I have never had that before. My previous GI had me drink, monitored me for 30-45 min and then sent me home. I then received a bill for over $800. They did not code the bill correctly and I called my insurance company and they explained why it wasn’t covered.

They are great at explaining the situation and procedures positively and ensuring that everything will run efficient and smoothly. Would highly recommend.
