Gastroenterology Center of Tampa Bay

Office engages in improper and deceptive billing practices causing patients to be 'surprised' with billing less than 24 hours prior to an important follow up appointment. Diane at front desk is rude demanding full payment prior to my follow up and now wont accept my calls.

This office is awesome starting with the front desk . We never sat there for a long wait, they confirm your appointments , and they explain everything clearly. Thank you again for treating me with dignity and respect. Thank you so much see you in 6 months

The doctors here are excellent — truly some of the best care I’ve received. Unfortunately, the front desk staff, particularly Daniel, completely undermines that experience. I missed a few appointments due to relocating and a hectic travel schedule, and I now have a past-due balance of about $200. I understand that they need to follow up on that — no issue there. But the way it was handled was unprofessional and unacceptable. Daniel called me multiple times in one day while I was traveling. I told him I was busy, yet he kept calling. When I finally answered, he was immediately combative, had a rude tone, and even said “I have the receipts” before abruptly hanging up on me. I tried to call back to calmly resolve the situation — I was placed on hold for nearly five minutes and then ignored

Dr Dedania is very professional, thorough, timely and does not rush through the appointment. I always feel heard and walk away with all of my questions answered and a thorough understanding. The staff is friendly, efficient, knowledgeable and polite. They provide me with all of the necessary information for what my next steps are and always follow up. Excellent job! Thank you for making my visits enjoyable!

As always everyone , including Dr Dedania was very helpful and understanding. I am never nervous or uneasy coming to this doctor’s office.
