They try. They want to do things in their own way to keep a flow going. I don't, and have never felt important. Seems they have a pharmacist that only is concerned with her comfort level. If you throw her a curve ball.. watch out! She actually told me once when I was trying to pick up my medication a day early to avoid a very crowded Friday bus. That Mrs.Abbott ...you know thats not how we do things here! What? They're very set in their routine. The pharmacy staff are mostly great! They were good to begin with, but I have had impossible times getting medication calling them. And getting through to them. I had to address a lot of issues I was having with them at my annual. I'm not even getting notifications of when my medication is supposed to be getting Delivered my best friend who gets medication.through them has actually had to come down and pick it up himself. Because of issues with the pharmacy. I had to go without my anti psychotic when I switched insurance. For a week. The one guy that answers the phone always seems incompetent and doesn't know what he's doing. I get the impression a lot of the staff don't. And they refused to fix their IT issues. That had been ongoing forever. I'm really trying to get people at the CSB to crack down on them and get it together

I don't know what happened to Genoa but it is not the way it was when I first used them a few years ago. When I first started using Genoa I had no problem getting my pills. I recently switched to another pharmacy because they kept saying they were going to send my pills in the mail but they never did. They even put one of my pills on hold when I needed a refill. Several times I have been close to running out or missed my morning pill because they would fill it last minute or on the day I run out. I believe if I have health insurance and pay for my meds I should not have to chase them down to fill my pills. They don't even care about their customers. If you are looking for a pharmacy I do not recommend going to Genoa.

Multiple times they did not have my meds in stock. Since I do not drive, this waste of finding rides, time and gas was frustrating. The last straw was when I asked for my meds to be mailed (because they were out of stock). This was on a Monday. I verified my address and watched my mailbox for a few days. 3 days later, I called and was told by Patrick that they hadn't been mailed. Would I like to come get them or continue the mail service. I said to mail them, verified my address for a 2nd time and explained that I do not drive, then called out of work due to withdrawal symptoms. On the 5th day I had to call out of work again, and go to the ER to get my meds due to severe withdrawl.
