Gentle Dental

From the second I called with my dental emergency, the receptionist took the time to make sure I was seen that day. I also have extremely bad anxiety when it comes to the dentist and I was blown away by the care that I received. They were all beyond accommodating to my anxiety and I truly felt at ease. The office was clean and I didn’t have to wait long either once I arrived. Highly recommend, especially if you are someone who struggles just stepping foot in the dentist.

BEWARE: Rude, Dishonest, and Completely Unprofessional I normally don’t write reviews, but my experience with Gental Dental in Lyndhurst, NJ was so outrageous that I feel obligated to warn others. Back in early 2024, I went in for a consultation, and the dentist recommended a crown for my implant. He took measurements, and we scheduled a follow-up appointment. However, the very next day, I changed my mind, called the office, cancelled the appointment, and specifically told them not to send anything to the lab. The staff confirmed the cancellation over the phone. Still unsure, I proactively contacted my insurance provider to explain what happened and asked them to cancel any pending authorizations for Gental Dental — except for that single initial visit. Fast forward over a year later,

I lost a crown and neglected to put it back on for about 6 months. Typically there would be way too much shifting at that point to put it back on, but they were able to adjust the crown and my tooth enough to put the same crown back on saving me the cost and time of getting a new one made! I was not expecting this outcome and was ready to dash out hundreds of dollars, as I would have had this been any other dentist. Very good and honest work. They’re not trying to just make a buck off of you, and actually care about doing the right thing that is right for you. I am very glad to have found this dentist.

I had just started seeing Dr. Felber at Gentle Dental and he’s by far the best dentist I’ve ever been to ! I have extreme anxiety going to the dentist due to bad past experience! I would go in shaking like a leaf ! He always made me feel comfortable and was very patient with me ! All the assistants are very nice as well, but Desiree is the best ! Both Dr.Felber and Desiree have both gone above and beyond and I couldn’t be more thankful !

Had a great experience here with a cleaning after not seeing a dentist for a few years. The staff was fine. The dentist that saw me was very chill. Didn't get his name. They did not try to upsell me anything. I personally have seen my friends get crazy upsell from dentists. I have used a spin brush for years and it's helped with my teeth immensely. Thank you to the staff here. That appointment was nerve wrecking and you made it a smooth process. Reading some of the comments here show how rude people have gotten during covid LOL. I will be back!
