Customer Reviews
Simply impossible to talk to someone on the phone. They never return calls left on voicemail. Having trouble getting Rx. Called in by doc 9 days ago. Leaving for vk tomorrow. First was told waiting for insurance. Then was told waiting to speak with doc. Doc says they spoke with pharmacist and corrected problem. Today pharmacist has no documentation of this. Switching pharmacies asap, will never return
I called the pharmacy after having some issues with my insurance the day before, which led to my prescription being denied. It turned out to be a case of miscommunication—not a big deal, but still inconvenient. When I called, the nurse named Stephanie answered and was extremely helpful. She explained everything clearly and told me the prescription was only $10. She even offered to let me pay for it instead of going through the whole VA process again. When I went to pick it up, I was surprised to see it had already been paid for, with a sticky note on the bag that said, “Thank you for your service.” That kind gesture really meant a lot. Huge thanks to Stephanie for her kindness and professionalism.
I don’t typically get my prescriptions filled at Giant anymore and today I was reminded why. 2 of the 3 woman that I came across during my visit to fill a prescription were grossly incompetent and rude. Most if not all individuals that are picking up a prescription are undoubtedly experiencing some sort of medical issue. It would be nice if the staff was empathetic to that and aimed to solve problems that arise during the transaction vs dismissing customers and their needs. I was provided with a goodrx code by my doctor to lower a prescription from $230 down to $60. It took over an hour for them to accomplish this task. The pharmacist on duty Thao Nguyen was absolutely no help, rude, dismissive and often prolonged the solution due to the errors she was making in the system. Somehow the pre
Severna Park Giant is #1 in true customer service. Stephanie, George, Rose, Karlee and Team are always eager to help us with a friendly smile. They are patient and very knowledgeable with answers to our medication questions. Our household has over 20+ medications. Giant Pharmacy has our needed items in stock with a variety of OTC choices. The staff has gone above and beyond to assist during the pandemic in helping my family stay healthy. Thank you,
Went in this morning to get a flu shot but they wouldn't give it to me because I didn't have my separate prescription card with me, even though my prescription insurance information is on file and they routinely fill my other prescriptions without seeing the card. I went to CVS at Earleigh Heights, who gave me my shot right away no problem, because flu shots are billed under medical coverage as a preventive service, not a prescription drug benefit, so I didn't even need my prescription card. Goodbye Giant Pharmacy, hello CVS. At least CVS seems to know what they are doing and doesn't waste your time.
