Gundersen Hospital

Absolute first class hospital and staff! One of my best and oldest friends was life flighted here and put into the ICU and put on life support. Every person of the staff that we interacted with was professional and exceptional! Yesterday nurses Amelia and Ava were taking care of him. They were patient with our questions and very knowledgeable and we could tell that they were there to do a great job and they did. If I could I'd give them a raise! Thank you, Gunderson and staff for being beyond top notch and for hiring incredible people!

i was admitted to the pediatric inpatient psychiatric unit here, it was really comfortable and cozy. just watched movies and journaled in between group therapy and exercise time. all carpet flooring so it wasn’t loud or overstimulating and the beds weren’t an inch thick and made of discomfort, they were actually comfortable and well made. would definitely go again hopefully won’t have to!

You know they are an embarrassment to our health when you check in 15 minutes early (check in at 7:45 A.M. as my appointment was at 8:15 A.M. to your drug screening and go to the same front desk 15 minutes past (8:15 A.M. when you were suppose to start at 8:00 A.M.) when your time to get tested was suppose to be completed. Only togve to repeat your name again and date of birth as if they didn't already see you once for checking in with the blue folder they gave you. Plus when they fail to tell you what you need to bring in such as your glasses for you only to go back out to your vehicle to get them after doing their My Chart check in. You're better off getting saved up in Winona at a hospital if you live in La Crosse as they don't know what their doing professionally.

As a result, I discontinued my hospital check-ups. My confidence in doctors and nurses has diminished.
