Headrick's Drug Store

If I could give ZERO stars I would. It’s a dang shame that this pharmacy is nowhere or at least not trying to be like it use to be when Mr. Benny was there. I believe he would be disappointed. Took away the small town feeling. Being a Joaquin residence that had to have a surgery done in Shreveport needs to get medication filled at a Louisiana pharmacy so naturally chose Headricks for convenience and having used them before. Not only would they not fill it but didn’t give a call, text, nothing letting us know. Luckily I thought to call while my husband was in surgery to make sure it would be ready by time we got home or he would have been in a lot of unnecessary pain and I would have been way more mad than I am now. Said since they didn’t fill his new current medications they wouldn’t fill

This was a very good pharmacy before but since I don't take any prescriptions other than the pain relief I need after my tooth got pulled. They refuse to fill it. They said,"Hi We received your prescription request from your prescriber. Unfortunately we can no longer fill controlled substances only for patients. We would have to transfer all chronic prescriptions to Headrick's." Used them only for years but so long. It would be a good place for a pharmacy...

Mr. Benny had some big shoes to fill and Dr. Mike has done a GOOD job filling them. I’m a new diabetic so I had a zillion questions which he patiently answered them all for me. I have a question I call he answers it and always tells me to come see/call him if I have an issue about my meds. I feel a lot better knowing we have a pharmacist that cares and that I can call to ease my mind about new meds I am on!! Thanks Dr. Mike! (Now let’s talk about that old fashioned ice cream bar) 😂

Waste of time going here. I went to fill a prescription for my mother-in-law. They said they couldn't fill it because they couldn't fill an opioid for a person who hadn't been a customer for at least a year. She has been a customer of that pharmacy for at least 2 years... She just had surgery so she needed her medication. Later, I found out that there was a new pharmacist, so I'm guessing that's the problem.

Super Nice people!!! My only complaint is they close to early... A lot of times by the time I get out of my doctors office in Bossier City, and drive home to Logansport the pharmacy has just closed!!!! If they stayed open at least until 6:00 p.m., I could get my medicine and wouldn't have to wait to get my medicine filled the next day.
