These people don’t care about the patients at all. They could die and they would not even know bc of their lack of concern. My cousin was dripping blood out of his pants and sitting in a puddle of blood when we saw him. Why would they even let him out like that? I m looking into this and I’m going to report every last one of them. Don’t send your people there unless you have a death wish. What is the procedure when someone is dying? How hard would it be to call 911 and have him transported to the emergency room or something. What efforts have gone into treating my cousin. No answers! I’m going to find out! Update. My cousin passed away 2 days after coming back to this facility

A rating less than 1 should be allowed. Terrible staff, terrible facility. A place like this is how you know the State of Missouri isn't ensuring the safety of people placed in facilities. DO NOT ALLOW YOUR FAMILY MEMBERS TO BE PLACED HERE!!!!! The care team, the Social Worker, are incapable of communicting in a way that enables you to be aware of your family members condition or treatment. Hopefully the effort to get the state and county to pay attention to what happens at this facility result in it being shut down or taken over by capable management and personnel.

Heritage Nursing Center should receive negative 10 stars. This facility is absolutely HORRIBLE !!! You can smell the horrible stench at the entrance. The kitchen staff does not practice proper food & safety measures. My family’s experience was the worse. For starters the nursing staff DOES NOT follow Dr’s orders and, either skipped my fathers medicine doses or, administered my fathers medicine in error on multiple occasions. My fathers room mate would call out for help frequently as he is a quadriplegic, and was left nude on occasion with 3-4 other men in the room (no dignity). Staff is either rude, dismissive or just unconcerned with actual patient care. Please avoid placing your loved one in this facility because they will receive inadequate care, they may receive their medicine in err

These people are heartless, cruel and only concerned about money. My aunt became a ward of the state because she didn't have the money to pay. She died and they never even notified the family of her death. We found out the following week when we attempted to visit her for her birthday! No all I get is the run around. No one can tell us what they did with her body or her belongings. All of my mom's siblings donated their bodies to medical science and the ashes have been returned to us which we have built a family memorial for. My Aunt was the last sibling to go, and now our memorial will forever be incomplete and these people seem to be perfectly ok with that. No one has expressed the slightest bit of concern for our pain and sense of loss and they refuse to give us any information

Do not admit your family member to this place if you care about them. It is not the facility it was several years ago. The facility has a new Director of Nursing (DON) and an Administrator who treats all of the residents like prisoners. The entire facility is in a lockdown status and at one point, paper sheets where placed on the entrance doors to prevent residents from looking outside. In addition, unlike the prior DON (who had years of experience, a degree and certificates in specialty fields, a thorough knowledge of caring for residents with dementia, behavior issues, and other illnesses), information provided indicates the current DON is just a Registered Nurse with limited skills and knowledge. The DON's limited skills are exacerbated by the limited skills, knowledge and experie
