Instituto Nefrológico de Tijuana

I work in medical field in Tijuana and we often have foreign patients who come for different type of surgery. This time the patient had ClosureFast surgery and everything went extremely well. All the staff is super nice, very caring, clean facility, the nurses check on a patient all the time. Food after surgery was good. The hospital is being remodeled. But it is very clean, with very good staff and doctors. There is parking and its quiet and safe and very comfortabel for both patient and any accompanying person.

This is the best hospital, they literally have saved my mother’s life twice. The first time in 2019 when in surgery they found out malignant tumors and proceeded successfully to removed them in time. The second one three weeks ago when my mom lost way to much blood due to multiple hemorrhages. The staff is very prepared and kept attention every 10 minutes if everything was right. Cheers to (INT)

Didn’t undergo surgery, but restored to health with iv fluids, medication and care. Quick admission. Great doctor, who was informed and provided comprehensive assessment and effective treatment. Excellent care from staff, who were friendly, attentive and helpful. Large, clean, comfortable room. Absolutely no complaints (except maybe food, although had very little). First experience with a hospital in MX and it was top-notch!

I just had 20 days ago a Mini-Bypass surgery. I want to thank publicly to Dr. Ponce de León, Dra. Chávez and the whole team. They were amazing!! Specially to the nurses at the clinic, they knew exactly what they were doing, they were on top of every single detail, I can't thank enough their service and professionalism. The place itself desn't need to be luxerious to be great, it was just perfect and worked just fine. Don't look for apariences, the personel in this places was amazing to me. I totally recomend Dr. Ponce de León and this Hospital for Bariatric procedures.

My friend came to have a breast augmentation done. We were not informed when she was out of surgery or sent to the recovery room and we were asked to wait outside at night, the receptionist was not willing to let us wait for our friend, despite the fact that it was empty inside and dark outside and then we were approached by a homeless man outside .. very upsetting. Luckily the doctor was decent. And the surgery went well. The night time receptionist was very rude and kept giving us excuses as to why we had to wait outside.
