I went to JCD as a new patient for a routine checkup with Dr. Lauren Hoye, and I had a great experience. From scheduling to the actual visit, everything moved quickly. What really surprised me was that my cleaning and several fillings were all completed within a week. The cleaning was thorough, and the filling work was the best I have ever had. It was precise and very clean. Before starting treatment, they clearly explained the costs and showed the pricing with and without insurance, which I truly appreciated. Everything felt transparent. Check-in was smooth, and I only waited a few minutes before being seen. Everyone I interacted with, not just the doctor but also the hygienist and assistants, was genuinely kind and welcoming. They were kind and not judgemental and explained the process very well, they could tell I was anxious and took every precaution to reassure me. Getting my treatment there has been so beneficial to my mental health and I appreciate them so much! Would definitely recommend

If you're looking for a new dentist, look elsewhere. My 80 year old mother first visited JCD two years ago. They recommended that she have 7 teeth pulled! I went with her to the follow up appointment, where we met with a different dentist. I asked if pulling this many teeth was really necessary. He said NO, and they only pulled 3. Who recommends pulling teeth that don't need to be pulled! My mother returned this week for a routine visit just to get clearance before knee replacement surgery. They took x-rays and told her she needed a LOT of work and would not clear her for surgery. She was distraught. Great staff always. I've been going to JCD for years. I had horrible dental phobia when I started w them bc of previous experiences, but their kindness, competence, and reassurance have eliminated my fear. It's sometimes a long wait for an appt, but staff are great at trying to fill the appts that have been cancelled by someone else.

Front office was great responding immediately to my request for our entire family (of 4) services! They called and got my dental records quickly almost immediately. Dr. Hoye was great, introduced herself while checking general teeth condition, xrays and gum health. I liked everyone very much so far. Our Hygienist Sarah is awesome!
