Janae Combs

Janae is everything!! In the black community, we typically have been taught to shy away from counseling/therapy. It’s shunned against because we’re taught that we’re supposed to “keep things in the house”. This is new to me. I’ve never seeked any type of help before. As a black woman, I knew the type of therapist I needed. I sought out a therapist who could relate to me and things I have gone through, am going through, or will potentially go through—a fellow black woman. I needed a therapist that would see me versus a payment. This is who Janae is!! She has greatly exceeded every last one of my expectations! She’s amazing!! At a very dark time in my life, she has been & continues to be a light. I cannot begin to express how thankful I am for her! I highly recommend her!!

Janae was a good choice for me when looking for a therapist and so when my daughter needed to talk with someone I knew who to call. She is good at counseling teens and adults. My daughter said they really connected during their sessions.
