Jasmine Stannard

Dr. Stannard is a good rheumatologist who listens to me and clearly communicates with me. I feel my concerns are listened to, and my treatment options clearly explained. She is knowledgeable about rheumatic conditions and pros and cons of treatment methods. The office staff are also friendly and efficient.

I was misdiagnosed from the start. Dr. Stannard heard my complaints and symptoms. Told me I had osteoarthritis and could be treated by my family physician. Turned out to be EXACTLY what I said which is Rheumatoid arthritis.

I recommend this specialist to literally every friend or family member that I have who has similar diagnosis to me. I do this because this doctor is just amazing! I feel blessed to have a doctor who listens to me, who truly cares about me who doesn’t push medication on me unnecessarily. I am grateful for her and everyone at this location. Having various autoimmune diseases is tough but she always makes me feel better and listened to. This particular office too off of Jackson Rd in Ann Arbor is awesome because you can get your X-rays and your blood draws etc all here and it’s not overwhelming busy. It’s just great I have no negative things to say. I have been seeing her now for 5 years and every time she has been amazing! I highly recommend the Trinity health system.

I have seen this doctor twice. Despite a long list of worsening life-affecting symptoms and a strong positive family history of autoimmune disease including lupus and psoriatic arthritis, I came away from my appointment with no treatment plan and a vague diagnosis. She was less than helpful and was dismissive of my concerns. I would not recommend her.

I did NOT see the Dr. Stannard in clinic that I read about in these reviews. Maybe she was having a bad day, but I will not see her again after what happened. During my appointment, Dr. Stannard interrupted me multiple times, rushed me, and didn’t let me share all my concerns and symptoms. She reported many of my issues in the visit notes, as well as to me, incorrectly—even after many corrections. The diagnosis she offered was from her misunderstanding and an incomplete report of my symptoms. Her answers to my questions about my symptoms and her proposed diagnosis were incomplete and incoherent.
