Jays Pharmacy Ingleside

I have been using Jay’s Pharmacy since they opened and have consistently received outstanding customer service from the owner and staff, until today. Over the past couple of months, I stopped receiving calls when my prescription was ready, so I called on 2/26 to verify. I was informed that the price had increased by $40, which I understand can happen, but I did have a few questions. When I called back to ask about using a GoodRx coupon, the staff member was immediately hostile and dismissive. She stated it would not change the price and ultimately told me that the owner said I could take my prescription to Walgreens. I then asked to speak to the owner, who then kindly explained that the supplier had increased the cost, which I completely understand. However, the staff member’s disrespect

So glad when looking for a ‘mom and pop’ small pharmacy I found Jay’s. I used the same pharmacy for almost 20 years, HEB, but unfortunately they started having stock issues on a couple most important medications. Used either Walgreens or CVS then for 6-8 months but then they too started being iffy on stock. One would have and not the other typically so then my dr would have to cancel the first script and resend to the other. Since I’ve been using Jays awhile there’s been no issues of them not having my medications. My husband gets off work in time to pick up sometimes but if not they offer delivery. That’s very helpful because I have chronic pain and severe insomnia and just don’t feel l’m up to driving over often. Thank you for great service and delivery as well!

Absolutely the best pharmacy in the county and surrounding counties. The Pharmacist Mr. Jay and staff Drew and Jen are extremely knowledgeable as well as personable. They make the effort to know their customers names when you walk in. Pricing and service are a cut above and I will always use Jay’s. This Pharmacy is different. If you need a script filled, over the counter meds to first aid try Jay’s you won’t be disappointed. Love this pharmacy.

I have never had such a wonderful experience with a great staff before this place. They have saved me hundreds of dollars on my prescriptions. Taking time to call the insurance company to get us better pricing on all our prescriptions. They meet all my needs plus some. I have switched over all my family to Jays pharmacy. No lines, super friendly and polite. Can’t really tell if they are having a bad day, they treat you like you really matter and appreciate your business. Just the way it used to be. If you want excellent service than switch to Jays Pharmacy. Can’t go wrong! Thanks for all you guys do!
