Jefferson Heart and Vascular Institute - Elkins Park at Rolling Hill

I went here a couple years back to see a specialist about pain in my chest. I even explain I experienced this before and it may be inflammation due to a previous ER visit at another hospital. They did a ekg test on me and said the rhythm of my heart is fine. I talked to them more and they wanted to schedule another test(stress test) for another day. They said they would call me to schedule it. After I saw the bill on my insurance I paid it. Then they decided to call me after 2 weeks has pass and I was feeling fine. I could of died before they actually diagnosed me because it was inflammatory and too much fluid in the sac around my heart. luckily it wasn't as severe!! Today, I did get properly diagnosed when I had the experience again and it was very severe that I needed a surgical procedu

The office does not do their job. They said they would mailed referral letter (I don't know why they can't use email) to my house but it took 5 days to send out, and 7 days has passed the letter didn't arrive yet. My doctor said he would prescribe medication and send to my neighborhood pharmacy but 7 days after I check the pharmacy they still don't have the prescription note yet. I call the office if they did send the prescription note and the lady who answered my call tell me to call my pharmacy!!!...

Been going here for years, myself, my mother, and other family members. Although they "retired" the older, really great doctors as a financial move, they have found new doctors that are excellent!
