Would not recommend. Ethical and effective therapeutic care requires clinical curiosity, proportional judgment, and openness to context. Jodie Freid’s approach here appeared to operate through a narrow clinical lens, with high exclusion thresholds and limited exploratory assessment.

Jodie is honestly one of the best decisions I’ve made for myself. Working with her has really changed my life. She creates a space where you feel comfortable, supported, and understood. What makes her different is that she’s not the kind of therapist who just tells you what you want to hear. She pushes you to think more deeply, take accountability, and do the hard work, even when it’s uncomfortable. I’ve recommended Jodie to many of my friends and coworkers, and they’ve all had positive experiences as well, which really speaks to how great she is. If you’re looking for a therapist who will support you but also push you in the best way, I can’t recommend Jodie enough.

Jodie is an absolutely wonderful therapist who uses her knowledge of CBT to better her patients. After years of searching for the right therapist, I found Jodie and I am so happy that I did!

I would not recommend Jodie for anyone with complex needs. It appears she prioritizes textbook or easy cases, and will refuse treatment, or provide limited support if your situation requires multilayered clinical exploration. If you're looking for an open minded and judgement free provider, you should find someone else. Very unfortunate.
