John Coats

I had surgery two weeks ago on the top 3 discs of my spine. Dr. Coats is a fantastic surgeon that I highly recommend as his surgical skills are excellent ,he is precise in explaining the procedure and making sure I was comfortable . His surgical team was also very professional and comforting . North Broward Hospital was also excellent and the nurses are all working as a positive team . I would highly recommend Dr. Coats for any surgery in his realm . I have been an athlete my entire life and I was very particular in choosing my surgeon and I feel that I choose the best . This Dr is outstanding. He’s an excellent surgeon not afraid to take the hard cases. Office is pleasant and all the staff are super cool and nice. If you’re suffering with spine issues this is your doctor. When other Drs and PAs and NPs use and recommend Dr Coats… you know he’s the real deal 🇺🇸

Dr Coats is extremely friendly and has a wonderful bedside manner. This is one of the very few doctors that I've met that actually cares about the well-being of his patients. You know that he is not one of those surgeons who is in his career for the money. He does it because he wants to take care of people.

Dr Coats is an amazing doctor. I had spinal stenosis, and in pain.. The time he spent with me, never rushed, was so encouraging to the process of getting better. Dr Coats had me up and walking without my leg going numb the same day !! Also his staff at the office was so helpful at every stage of the process for pre op.. Great Job !! I highly recommend Dr. COATS, and his staff !!!!! .

This man saved my life! He has done 3 major spinal surgeries on me. He found a tumor in my spinal cord & removed it while saving my ability to walk. He fused 5 levels of my neck which relieved massive chronic pain that I had for years. I am walking & have quality of life thanks to this surgeon. Precise in his precision of surgery with a warm and kind bedside manner. He’s very good to follow up with all his patience, whether in the hospital or a phone call to Home, Dr Coats will make sure his patients are left feeling confident in their recovery & path to wellness.
