I had an amazing experience at Joyful Bodies Therapeutics. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was calming and professional. She was attentive and clearly skilled at what she does. The massage was exactly what I needed. She paid attention to my tension areas and adjusted pressure perfectly. I left feeling lighter, refreshed, and genuinely cared for. I’ve had plenty of massages around the world, and I am fortunate to have Joy so close to home in the DMV. It’s been very challenging finding a massage therapist who has the knowledge, technique, and receptiveness, and Joy is the perfect combination. She catered to my requests (for 8.5/10 then 8/10 pressure—don’t let her small hands fool you: she can PRESS) and I felt comfortable and confident that she would take care of the problem areas in my body. Joy is the absolute best and worked out my hematoma after a really bad fall. She also helped me with the knots in my back and I’m already walking better! I highly recommend her and I will be seeing her again soon!

I got a 55 minute Swedish Massage with Joy and it was amazing. The studio is very clean and really sets the relaxing environment. Joy asked a lot of questions to pinpoint problem areas for her to focus on. Definitely will be coming back soon!
