Customer Reviews
Such a great experience @ Choc Children’s Hospital in Orange off La Veta St. The in take lady, who took our vitals was such a delight and so helpful. She took the time to understand our son’s situation without shooting us off. Engaging in our conversation and concerns going above and beyond to provide as much information and support me can do. But it did not stop there. The X-ray man, who made us feel at such ease with laughter and Jokes. Made us forget why we were there in the first place. Was amazing and did his job with proficiency. Nick Beckman was our nurse for the night including Kaitlyn and multiple others. I have to say by far the most wonderful experience for such a difficult time with our 13 ye old son. They cared for his every need and made sure that they did their best
Service from the front did not improve. The waiting time is at least over 3 hrs to able to see a Doctor for 10 minutes. My kid 3 years old with high fever 103.5 to check in with CHOC ER in Orange city and the front nurse give him a medication without any water. I believe everyone knows how sweetness of the reducing medication is, and the baby has to swallow with water after taste. THEN BABY STILL NEED TO SIT THERE WAITING OVER 2 HRS AT THE FRONT LOBBY without any nurse checking on the high fever baby. >>>>>DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE COME HERE.
On June 11th my 15 month old had a seizure when we were staying at our hotel on vacation. The ambulance staff brought us to this hospital. The staff were very knowledgeable and took very good care of our daughter. Even though this was hands down the scariest situation I've ever experienced it was definitely better by the fact the medical staff were very clear about answering all our questions and concerns and explaining everything that was going on with our daughter. Once she was feeling better enough to play one of the volunteers brought her a stuffed animal and some toys to play with. I am so grateful for the staff and volunteer at that hospital.
The worst emergency service. Wait time over 4 hours. Doctors are not competent. They don’t respond to requests — just make empty promises. I do not recommend it under any circumstances.
GREAT HOSPITAL always GREAT SERVICE! BUT beware of bills. Bills for services provided by the Doctor (Emergency Medicine Specialist of Orange County) does not get send to your insurance company and bill you directly. I had 3 separate issues and I’m still trying to resolve them. Just make really sure and follow up to see if they do send them otherwise they will be sending you and sending you invoices.
