Jóse Milton Memorial Hospital at Jackson West

My mother-in-law recently spent two weeks at Jackson West. While the hospital is beautifully designed, they should have invested more in staffing rather than just aesthetics. During her stay, we had issues with care and responsiveness. Despite our concerns she was released after a week, only to be sent sent back for further care by her doctors the very next day. It was an awful experience. The hospital is severely understaffed, and I do not recommend taking a loved one there ever.

Update: They saw this review, replied to reach out, then deleted their response. Interesting. Will be opening a case. My grandfather, who is 95 and has dementia, was brought to the hospital via ambulance. I wish they didn’t spend so much money on design and would have invested more money on staff. Understaffed, no sense of urgency, and horrible customer care. They rushed his discharge, although at 95 years old high blood pressure can be deadly, because “they needed the space”. And to top it off, they wanted us to wait outside in this scorching Miami heat to be picked up when they discharged him like he was waiting at a bus stop. I could not be anymore disgusted with the treatment of the elderly.

Hello fellas. My wife recently gave birth in this hospital and our experience has been awesome beyond expectations. Very good organized and clean hospital. The staff is outstanding. What a great service and great experience. The cafeteria is awesome food very good. So glad we choose this hospital for our maternity needs. Thank you. Please keep it this way.

This past week we found ourselves in a dire medical situation, as a family we had to make a choice and we chose to head to Jackson West which being a new hospital we had no prior experience with. Our experience at José Milton Memorial Hospital surpassed all of our expectations. Staff kindly & promptly guided our family through the admission process. We knew we were in good hand just by this first impression. This attention to detail and care carried throughout our over night stay. We are so grateful to the whole staff at emergency care. They raised the bar at Jackson West.
