My experience at UW kidney stone center was amazing very courteous staff from the office and front counter to the nurses doctors and anesthesiologist’s they are all very professional, I honestly don’t even worry about getting kidney stones anymore, highly recommended!

Im so grateful for the Kidney Stone Center! I highly recommend this center and particularly Dr. Sweet. I was lucky to be paired with Dr. Sweet and his team. I have gone through 2 successful ureteroscopies, stent placements, and stent removals, with several stones removed (up to 9mm). Through the process he and his team have been so kind and take the time to listen to my anxieties and concerns about these difficult procedures. Dr. Sweet and his team make intentional effort for the process to feel safe and accepting, adding in thoughtful humor to lighten the process. Let’s be clear, I’m not a fan of having chronic kidney stones (who is? Lol), But the kidney stone center and their team make it that much more bearable! Thank you all. :)

I want to give them the benefit of the doubt and assume they must be constantly overwhelmed with patients and they only have 1 scheduler on staff who can handle all of the clinic's patients. Or their phone system is broken and needs fixing. My referral was sent from my ER attending on May 24th. The kidney stone center sent me a text they had received the referral but it's under review. The following Thursday they send another text saying they're ready to schedule and I should call them. I call the following Monday and no one answers. I assume they're just busy and try again the next morning. Again, no one answers but this time I get transferred to the main UW scheduling line who also can't get a hold of the center but they leave a note that they should call me to schedule. Dr. Sweet treated me for a staghorn calculus kidney stone. Throughout the process I found Dr. Sweet to be excellent---professional, extremely skilled, and caring. And the various teams who assisted were well trained, helpful, and effective. I am grateful.
