Kiumars R Hekmat, M.D. FACS

I’ve been going to this office for about 3 years. Dr Hekmat is in the top 3 of my favorite doctors I’ve ever had. He is kind, is not rushed, listens, I trust his judgment; and he has a sense of humor that I enjoy. Every nurse that has prepped me for my visit with him has been competent, professional and calming. (Ana, Ramona and Lola) A couple years ago I had a simple procedure that really made me anxious; and Ramona was perfect, very patient and her demeanor was reassuring. I’ve been in both the Elk Grove and Sacramento offices, and have the same experience in both. I wish all my Drs and staff were like the staff here.

Appointment began early. Dr. Hekmat is highly experienced, efficient, and friendly. I have been seeing him for years now on an annual basis.

I was very lucky to choose him as my Doctor and he saved my life several times from my kidney stone, I wish all the best for him and always I am very proud of him,

Dr. Hekmat is a good listener, which isn’t obvious at first. But he asks good questions that draw out the info he then uses to help me. He advocated for the right meds and helped work through insurance. I am very grateful.

I don't think he listens to the symptoms I gave before deciding what tests to run. The tests he ran came back negative, which make sense for the symptoms I gave him.
