La Quinta Pharmacy-Best Pharmacy in California

REFUSED COVID Vaccine to a Canadian I booked an appointment for a booster for my husband and myself. When we arrived they gave my husband the booster because he has Medicare but refused to give one to me. They reason given to me by the Pharmacist was that they no longer get paid for people without insurance. I have since spoken to the CDC and this is against the Rules. The pharmacy is given the vaccines at No Cost. It is a service. The sad part is that I was going to move my husbands prescriptions over to this pharmacy but will Not with this kind of attitude Please re think your policy and do your part to reduce COVID. Please give the vaccine to Canadians or any others who live here that do not have insurance.

They are not a compounding pharmacy despite the sign on the side of the building saying they are. I was looking for an alternative compounding pharmacy to Fireside Pharmacy in Palm Desert as they provided incorrect dosage information for my prescription and I was informed that Fireside does the compounding for La Quinta Pharmacy and that none is done in house. They were also quite rude and did not seem to believe me that Fireside made a dosage error on my prescription despite two different pharmacists confirming the error and eventually giving me a refund.

My entire family recently received our vaccines here and the staff was kind and got us all taken care. We were so appreciative of the way they handled everything especially the care that they took with our high risk elderly parents. ❤️ We love La Quinta Pharmacy 😊

They went the extra mile on getting a script transferred. Kept me updated and got even more than I asked for. I tried a local Walgreens and they were the worst- but that's a different review. Anyway, this pharmacy continues to excel in service. It's not the most convenient for me, but it's worth the extra drive time for the fantastic service by both the pharmacists and their assistants.

Their website says they're open 3-6 weekdays. I was there at 9:15 today; it was locked with no lights on. Drove home and called at 9:20, no answer, no response. Either change their website to 9:00-ish or change the website to reflect reality.
