La Serenità Residential Care

Selam is an angel. My aunt came to her home in December of 2020. She suffered with COPD for several years and began having memory issues a several months prior. Her decline was fast but Selam being a gentle and amazing caregiver, gave us 3.5 years more with her. She was 90 when she passed last year, July 2023. We are forever grateful and thankful for Selam and her family. Such a blessing to know our loved one was always well cared for, there was never a concern or doubt for myself or my mom (her sister).

I cannot be more grateful that we were lucky enough to find La Serenita when we were no longer able to care for our mom who had severe dementia. What a blessing it was to have Selam as her caregiver! Selam cares deeply for her residents and had a wonderful way of coaxing mom into allowing help with activities of daily living. If you are in a position where you have to seek care for a loved one and you feel as anxious and concerned about the decision as we did, you do not need to look any farther. Selam is a trustworthy, responsible and loving caregiver and her home is beautiful. I highly encourage you to visit La Serenita to see for yourself what an inviting and well kept environment is awaiting.

I'd first like to say thank God for Selam! I can't tell you what a relief it was to find La Serenita.We looked at a lot of places for my mom and quite a few I was surprised were able to have a license to do this, it was amazing the lack of empathy Some of these places had for aging adults, then we found La Serenita and Selam, she immediately made us feel comfortable and her house was beautiful and clean. The residents were all in the living room, watching TV or doing various things and seemed very comfortable like they were in their own house. She understood our mom's condition (lewy body dementia) and was able to handle her hallucinations and fear like a pro. I will forever be grateful for the time my mom got to spend there and the love and care she received.

La Serentita’ is a great place for your loved ones. It’s clean, well designed (for multiple residents with disabilities) with homemade food every meal. The owner (Selam) is a wonderful caregiver. She is loving, caring , patient and kind. Dementia is a difficult disease, but Selam calmly deals with my (sometimes) angry mother in law. She feels special every single day and is well cared for. We moved our MIL out of a high end AFH into La Serenita. We truly feel La Serenita’ has better care. We are very blessed to have La Serenita caring for our beautiful (angry at times) mother. We as a family highly recommend La Serenita for the care of your loved ones that can no longer take care of themselves

I can not say enough thanks to Selam and her husband for taking care of my dear mom for over 3 years. I highly recommend them!!! Their facility is always,spotless clean and they have very nice meals. Thank you guys from the buttom of my heart for taking care of Tatyana, like she was your own family. God bless you!!!
