We must adjust and consider becoming a PATIENT patient when going to a medical facility; I've learned this over the years that EVERYone with an EMERGENCY is that one who relies on the staff to make them THAT PRIORITY. As I've watched and to my chagrin, TRIAGE has a broad based meaning and I'm thankful that it's explained and the medical assistants give me the same TLC and attention that's given to ALL who walk through the doors of Lackland Ambulatory Center. Thank God for our men and women and civilians in arms 🙏🏾

Absolutely unreasonably long wait for mediocre care at the ER. 3+ hours to even get an exam room and 3+ hours in the exam room for routine internal medicine issues. Tricare/nurse advice line makes you go here instead of an off base Urgent Care, even if it’s not appropriate for the problem because its a mil clinic, and the facility should adjust their practices accordingly for these types of patients…. But also: this is not an inner city trauma ER that has regular car accidents victims and stabbing victims it needs to tend to ahead of you… it has bmt trainees with sprained ankles, people with the flu. There is ZERO reason for the wait to be as long as it is for so few patients. I can’t determine if it’s a staffing issue- they only have one doctor for 15 exam rooms, maybe? Or staff incompete

The Orthopedic clinic is a complete joke. The staff have no clue what they are doing. I would give this place a negative 0!!!! The cast are not efficient and they do not have good bedside manners. Sergeant Bickers (Clinic supervisor) is a poor excuse for leadership . She is very unprofessional and does not know how to do her job. If you care about your health don’t go to the orthopedic clinic. You will be making your situation worse, based on the patient education and care they provide.
