Lake Taylor Transitional Care Hospital

If you are considering placing a loved one at Lake Taylor Transitional Care Hospital — especially on the Beachwood unit — I strongly urge you to think twice. My family’s experience with my grandfather’s care here has been nothing short of alarming and deeply disappointing. During his stay, my grandfather experienced multiple falls, each serious enough that he had to be sent to the ER and then transferred back to this facility. What makes this even more devastating is that my grandfather has dementia that is not advanced, and there are basic, standard safety interventions that should have been consistently implemented. I cannot say enough amazing things about Lake Taylor rehab.My 90 year old mother has been here a couple times from complications from falls. each time the staff and care she received were outstanding. This most recent visit had her there for about 3 weeks, i can not tell you how caring and nice the staff is here, even when facing some challenges and difficult tasks....they were always encouraging and sweet to my mom even when the going got tough. My sisters and I would like to personally thank two of the most amazing nurses aids: Ms. Kimberly and Ms. Tamara who worked in the Beechwood section. Although ALL team members in this facility were outstanding, these two really gave my mom the extra positivity she needed to heal. Kimberly and Tamara were so sweet to my mom when she needed it

I was a patient at Lake Taylor on two seperate ocassions the first time I was there for 30 days a couple months later for more than 70 days. On each stay at Lake Taylor the medical treatment and physical theraphy I recieved was what I consider be second to None. The medical, support and administrative personnel I came in contact with went above and beyond to address and responded to all my needs in a timely manner. My Meds were issued in a timely manner. The facility was exceptionally clean the food was well prepeared. If I have a future need to be at a care facility Lake Taylor will always be my facility of choice. Thank you for all you do.

Both of my parents received excellent care at Lake Taylor! The staff went above and beyond to help them with their rehabilitation. They stayed in constant contact with family members and we were updated frequently with their progress. The compassionate care they received from Lake Taylor allowed them to strengthen both physically and emotionally. I am so thankful these amazing caregivers were brought into lives. Our experience has been outstanding. Everyone has been kind, compassionate, caring and attentive. Michelle and Donna on day shift are always so compassionate towards my mother. Andrea the unit manager has been consistently supportive and caring. Kim DOA is one of the most knowledgeable and supportive administrators in LTC that I’ve ever met. I would recommend LTH without any hesitation. Thank you all for being so incredibly supportive to my mother and our entire family . ❤️
