She is a very good md but fails in bedside manner, tried 5 times to have her give me appt for glaucoma treatment never heard a peep and went sheye eye waited 4 hours for a ten minute viz and still no reply until I talked to patient relations,she finally called and told me to go else were? Very strange coming from a so called professional, good luck my fellow glaucoma suffering friends,wills eye is the place!!!

I became a patient of Dr Lama Al Aswad in February 2024 by default, after my original Dr left the practice. Every visit became long waits after each scheduled appointments. Her bedside manner is horrible. It always appeared that it was a waste of her time to be present & attentive. I felt as though she treated me as if she was doing me a favor by making an appearance. I found Dr Lama Al Aswad to be very dismissive, rude inconsiderate & abrupt. My last visit was today August 5, 2025, which was the worst of all visits. I could not take it anymore. I was at Scheie Eye Institute since 6:30 AM because according to my appointment I needed to be there by 6:45AM. I had to have several photos taken in preparation for cataract surgery.
