I felt compelled to leave a review for the care I received from Lauren Dewlin at Advanced Dermatology in Pikesville because it can only be described as exemplary. I have severe anxiety when it comes to the simplest of medical procedures, even the dentist! I can't fully understand why I have this response, but I got myself very worked up on my way in. After sharing this with Ms. Dewlin when I saw her for a simple biopsy, she handled it like no other medical professional I have ever met. She never made me feel like I was overreacting (which I definitely was) and showed so much compassion and kindness that I knew I needed to share my experience. As soon as she saw my skin she nailed it right away.She said it was sun damage.I don’t even stay in the much.She prescribed a medication and it worked wonders also sun screen.I never used sunscreen before didn’t think I needed it because I have melanin.THANK YOU Dr LAUREN
