Legacy Medical Group-Gastroenterology at Mount Hood

This review is regarding scheduling. 6 weeks before my deductible was due I called to find out how far in advance they were scheduling the procedure I needed. They told me they could get me in before my deductible became due again. I had my doctor send over the referral. I made 4 phone calls following up on the referral and was told it was processing. Finally after two weeks I was told there was no referral in the system. I had my doctor send it over again. They promised me they would call me that day to schedule. Well, it is 4 days later and no phone call. It has been 3 weeks since my doctor first sent over the referral ( there is evidence it was sent) and no procedure is scheduled. I had to find another facility and now will not have it completed before my deductible is due again. I have

Your gastro who deals with pancreatitis retired 6 months ago and your other gastros don't see pancreatitis patients?!? What does that even mean? Your specialists don't feel like doing their specialty so we need to find somewhere else?!? Turning away a patient referred by your own ER on your medical camps because the doctors don't treat that subset of their own specialty? Why? How? I've had fantastic experiences with Mt Hood legacy's other departments but this just seems completely negligent.

No one wants a colonoscopy but if you find yourself having to have one I highly recommend this place. Everyone was so kind everything was so clean and ran smoothly like they had been practicing for years. The staff were all so very kind and understanding and knowledgeable they explained everything to me and asked multiple times if I had questions. Best service anyone could have asked for.

I didn't have the heart to give one star so I gave two stars because the exam room was neat and organized. I fired my last GI doctor of 15 years because I felt disconnected with him. I hired Dr. Doshi and saw him a couple days ago. I was experiencing severe right side abdominal pain. I suspected Diverticulitis since I've had it many times before. Dr. Doshi dismissed my concern. He poked me two times in the abdominal area. He then said that it was impossible to have Diverticulitis on the right side, and if it was it would be very, very rare. I then got a lecture on my Diabetes. I left the office in severe pain and an order to have a CT Scan performed. I should have been sent over to the hospital to have the CT Scan done that day instead of having to wait for the CT lab to call m

I never thought I would be leaving a review for colonoscopy not to mention a great five star review. Last week I had a colonoscopy and of course like everybody else I was apprehensive but from the moment I got to Legacy Mt. Hood Gastroenterology until the moment I left I was treated like a queen. My fears where allayed; the people couldn’t of been nicer from the checking in people, to the nurses the anesthesiologist ( was a hoot), and my doctor Dr. Harald L. Schoeppner MD was wonderful I felt very relaxed very comfortable and it was the easiest Procedure of my life. My nurses were first rate and very understanding and accommodating. My anesthesiologist (I wish I could remember his name) was witty and very reassuring. My DR. had great rapport and had me relaxed and I KNEW I was in great
