Main Line HealthCare Endocrinology

After my old endocrinologist in west Chester suddenly closed, I had to quickly find a new practice. I was so grateful to find Dr. P. She diligently reviewed all my prior history with me, and answered all my questions to make sure my current meds were sufficient. I felt very safe in her care. On top of that, this is a brand new facility and it’s sparkling clean with all new equipment. The view from the waiting room is actually pretty and there’s a free coffee bar! Little touch but not something I’m used to and made it even more comfortable during my visit. My only slight complaint is there always seems to be an issue at the check-in desk. As others have said,its a bit unorganized and it’s clear they don’t want to be there. Ive waited over 45 mins at past two appts to be called back. Still,

I left this practice after 2 visits. The front desk staff was rude. Talked down to me and sent me downstairs to "make an appointment for labwork" when it's actually walk ins only. Also told me my insurance would cover work done at that lab which was not accurate. Dr. P didn't listen and was unhelpful. After confirming that I knew how to treat low blood sugars after living with T1D for 17 years she handed me a worksheet on treating lows as if I was a child. They were unable to get novolog covered despite my insurance allowing it. I went to a new practice and had no issues. Main line can build nice buildings all they want but the care here is garbage. Stay away.
