Connie and Lei are rockstars. During my pregnancy, labor, and postpartum journey they were my biggest support system. I had a high risk complicated pregnancy. Many midwives turned me down, but Connie stood up to the challenge and helped me achieve my dream of a home birth. We were lucky enough to experience a smooth,fast, and easy labor/Delivery. Our baby was born healthy and just turned 1 this past August. Without the help of Connie or Lei, we'd be stuck with another long traumatic hospital birth. I truly believe they both love their jobs to the fullest. They put a lot of pride and joy into their work. In my opinion, that type of support system is ideal. Connie is realistic, she doesnt sugar coat anything. She will help you achieve your goal in a safe and healthy manner. I would recommend

I received midwifery services from Leilani for both of my children I birthed, and Connie for my second baby. These women provided such a nurturing, understanding, confidential, safe, action planned space—I felt so held throughout my entire pregnancy. Leilani brought so many pieces of her culture, which was important to me as a non-Native Hawaiian birthing Native Hawaiian babies. She spoke stories, love, support, and honor into the entirity of my family expansion story. Seeing Leilani at both of my births—the depth of her knowledge, her support, and safety for holding not just me, but my entire family…words cannot express the eternal gratitude I have for her and how much she has gifted me and healed parts of uncertainty in me. I am so grateful her; she is a steward of my parenting story. C

Leilani and Connie were everything I could have ever hoped and dreamed for when it came to my birthing team. I loved that they came to my home for monthly check ups and just made everything SO easy and comfortable. They guided my husband and I with such grace and we had a beautiful healthy baby boy at home in Waihee Valley. Their communication was clear and I always felt heard and held through my entire pregnancy and postpartum by them. They gave us information about everything we wanted to know as first time parents and helped me create the birth plan of my dreams!! Their aloha and commitment to their clients is unmatched and I can’t wait to get pregnant again and have more babies with this birth team turned ohana!! 12/10 recommend LOVE THEM SO MUCH!

Without these amazing midwives, I would not have been able to fulfill my dream of having a home birth in Hāna. They truly made it possible for me to have my baby in the comfort of my own home. I had such an amazing experience with my midwives. I really appreciated the care and love they poured into me, my newborn and my family. I highly recommend choosing Connie and Leilani as your midwives. They truly listen to you and your family’s needs and concerns. They also lay out your options and allow you the option to choose what’s best for your birth journey. During my early stages in labor they had great communication and was easily accessible when I needed them. Connie and Leilani are phenomenal at what they do and I highly recommend using them as midwives because they incorporate traditional medicine and practices as well as modern medicine and practice if needed. The most important thing that I felt with Connie and Leilani was they made me feel safe during my whole pregnancy and postpartum.
