Megha Kothari, MD (Gastroenterology & Hepatology)

I went in yesterday for a colonoscopy everyone including Dr Kothari was super nice except for when I called the next day because I'm in so much pain. I called 4x took over 5 hours to get a call back with a final answer on what I should do. That's not acceptable. This was a routine colonoscopy that should have gone smoothly but it didn't. I'm still in pain. I should have found a Dr with more experience and more professionalism to call a patient back especially if you just had a procedure done. I definitely won't go back or recommend her.

I would have died in her care if another doctor didn't intervene while I was admitted to hospital. She took a phone call and went out to the hall to take it when they were telling me I was dying... beware.... ***I am fine now thanks to the amazing team at Cornell***

Dr.Kothari has patience, listening to your issues and is very professional in detecting ways to resolve them.i highly recommend her expertise.she resolved my problem without any procedures.

Dr Megha kothari is the best doctor! I been to numerous doctors because I was suffering from pelvic and stomach pain. Previous Dr's sent me for many test of the pelvic and stomach. they all stated I was fine. in addition to the previous gi dr who miss diagnosed me. I'm so thankful to dr kothari for her knowledge and excellent bed side manner .she diagnosed me accurately and recommended I do physical therapy. If anyone needs a gi dr I highly recommend this dr. you won't be disappointed! Especially if you care about your health and you want an accurate diagnosis .

She is the best doctor. She gives you personal attention and makes you feel very comfortable. I was reassured about my health after meeting her.
