Worst PCP I've ever had. Bad attitude, doesn't care, seems bored when you see her. Usually has a student come in and take a history and then comes in for less than 2 or 3 minutes. Unprofessional. When I refuse to take a medication because of side effects, instead of helping me find an alternative, she says there's nothing else she can do.
Worst doctor anywhere. My wife has been on the same medication for over a year and this doctor refuses to call it in on time. Every month we have to wait 3-4 days after shes out of medication for this doctor to call in the pre-authorization and then wait another day for it to be filled. If your medication is critical to your survival, find another doctor. Dr Helton will let you run out of meds and die.
I have been fighting a bad hip for a long time now and trying to get Dr. Helton to help me and no luck. I have tried for 2 days to get thru to the office and can not. She is not even helping to fill out my FMLA which I am legally entitled to. Finally today her office called wanting me to come in for a wellness check another month away! In the mean time I am in a lot of pain and having to miss work on and off with no help. Her staff member that called said I had to call THEM every day to see if they had a cancellation and that they had thousands of patients so they do not have a list to get on. I am stuck between a rock and a hard place with no where to turn for another month and I am sure that appointment will not go well either. My wife is also a patient and having problems getting tre
Just moved to area in Feb from another state. So far I’ve seen Dr Helton in person twice, and twice with telemedicine (over phone) only one appt was due to Illness. She was attentive, smart, personable and engaged in conversation with knowledgeable information and an open ear to my personal opinions and experience. So far, I like her very much and will continue to have her as my primary physician.
Dr Helton and her nurse are very caring and listens to your concerns and questions.
