Midway Primary Care - Fort Pierce, Suzan Zimmer DO, Tracy Britcher APRN, Suzanne Runge APRN

After four messages for Dr. Zimmer simply to clarify my medication from an appointment 2-weeks prior, I made an appointment to get my question answered. I was not acknowledged until 10:00, & not seen until 11:00 for my 9:30 appointment which consisted of the doctor inputting a prescription. Dr. Zimmer apologized, however the staff takes no responsibility for their failures whatsoever, I paid another $30 copay and waited 1.5 hours to get a 2-minute question answered, simply because the staff cannot be bothered to provide Dr. Zimmer a message. My previous appointment, I arrived 15 minutes early and waited an hour before seeing the doctor. Stopped in office today to make an appointment, picked this doc because we are both NSU alums. The receptionist was rude and condescending. She told me that the doctor had no appointments until Dec - I didn't believe her. The doc is in my provider directory but because my insurance is not a common name, I think the receptionist did not want to bother with me - my insurance is a private Cadillac plan. The receptionist handled my insurance card like it had a communicable disease. By the way, went right to another doc on my list, they verified my insurance in 3 mins and gave me an appt for next week. I usually don't write reviews but I want the doc to be aware of her staff's behavior.

My husband and I have been seeing Suzanne Runge APRN for many years we are more than pleased with the attention she gives us in any situation we encounter and there are many….my husband is not the healthiest(heart issues) though she is not a heart specialist she is more than knowledgeable and we receive only the best care and recommendations from her. I would highly recommend her As far as staff we have not had any issues in that department to date…..

I have been a patient of Dr Zimmer for the past 17 years since 2008 when she diagnosed me with Diabetes. She has always spoke the truth and given me the best advice… she has always listened and treated me with kindness and sometimes tough love which means she cares ❣️From the staff Summer Sandra Tasha and all the others I will always give them 5 stars ⭐️ and then some!!! Midway Primary Care is top notch❗️

I am truly disappointed with my appointment with Dr. Zimmer today. I work over night and without even a nap I went to my 9 am appointment. I waited almost an hour, and the first thing Dr.Zimmer said to me when she entered the room was that " this is not a walk in clinic". This was my first visit in 9 months. The practice is for sick care. I AM NOT SICK. All I'm in for is my yearly checkup,plus I wanted to have a conversation about menopause. This lady insulted me, a 54 year old mother of three with a college degree by asking me if I knew who a gynecologist is. She kept on insulting me with her obnoxious sarcasm. I was further disrespected when the reason for my visit was dismissed. My visit was not free. I believe everyone should be treated with kindness and empathy. This was not my exper
