Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery of Long Island, Dr. Alexandros D. Zouzias, MD, FAANS

5 and 1/2 weeks ago I had spine fusion surgery with Dr. Zouzias. My recuperation has been amazing. Never needed to take any prescription pain meds, strictly extra strength Tylenol. Even at this early stage in my recuperation, my back is pain free. Best decision I made!

Dr Zouzias is a scammer!!!!! I have his direct line. This is the number that I used to make my appointments with him. I met with him twice. He told me he accepted my insurance. He took my insurance card, my ID, made copies, and my co-pay. Months later I get a huge bill that he’s not in my network. When I call him back on his same direct line, same voice same person he tells me he doesn’t know me and his is Dr Joel. Then hung up on me as I explained the situation and now is not taking my calls.

Courteous staff and professional service. Dr. Zousias is proficient in the field of spinal surgery and did a great job on my back. His manner is straightforward and friendly. I would definitely recommend him to others.

Dr Zouzias is the best. He has great bed side manor. He is an excellent surgeon that tries to fix you with a non inasive procedure first instead of going in and getting spinal fusion. I really appreciate his care.

Dr Z was incredible in fixing my lower spine . His bedside manner alone speaks volumes and he takes the time to explain the procedure and process in great detail and length . I had a 3 level spinal fusion and Dr Z was the only dr to realize I actually had a broken back upon doing the fusion. So it quickly went from a 3 level fusion w hardware to adding in kyphoplastry. I am now 4 1/2 months out and I had no side effects during or after the procedure except severe pain. Dr.Z also recommended a spinal stimulator to help the bone fuse faster and recover quicker . I can’t thank dr Z and dr Bak plus the staff at good Sam for making me comfy in my stay for 2 days. He is kind, attentive and Is amazing at his craft .
