Dr Jordan Simon is amazing fixed my daughter’s tendon and gave her a new hip and is doing her second hip soon! He was very professional and a very good surgeon I highly recommend anyone from this group I wouldn’t use any other orthopedic group! Outstanding Doctors and staff here! ♥️👏🏻 forgot to add the staff @ Montefiore Nyack hospital was amazing to from the emergency room Drs and nurses to the floor to the operating room all attentive and outstanding care!! 🎊🎉

Terrible experience. I made an appointment at Montefiore Einstein in West Nyack after their staff confirmed—using my insurance card, member ID, and details—that they accepted my insurance. Even the online check-in link they sent me showed my correct $35 specialist copay. When I arrived for the appointment, I was suddenly told they actually did not take my insurance and that the visit would cost $300+ out of pocket. I had no choice but to leave without being seen. This error cost me significantly. I wasted time arranging and paying for dog care, driving nearly two hours round trip, and taking an unpaid day off from both of my jobs. Doctors are good but the staff not so much. First of all, our surgical coordinator was impossible to get a hold of. Insurance had denied approval bc they said MRI results were missing. Then an appeal was filed. We called and left messages up until the day before surgery because approval was still pending. NO ONE let us know if we had approval or not. We only found out right before surgery at the hospital that insurance finally went through. The lack of communication and inability to reach the surgical coordinator made this process much more stressful than it needed to be. I was seen by Dr. Jordan Simon. The staff were amazing. But Dr. Simon was extremely unprofessional!!! For a Dr. to tell a patient that they are to old to have a hand injury, is not only insulting, but it's completely unprofessional!!!!! The worst bedside manner I've come across. As a retired nurse, I was completely shocked. This is completely unacceptable!!!!! I had no idea, that certain injuries were reserved for a specific age group. In almost 20 years as a nurse, I worked with many Dr's. I have never come across this type of disrespect. I would not recommend him. Unless you want to be insulted. For this reason, I gave one star.
