Monticello Urgent Care (Middletown Medical)

Fantastic in all ways: reception, initial screening and testing by nurse, doctor visit with results. I was on a tight schedule (aren't we all, all the time?!!) and was prepared to leave if I wasn't seen by a certain time. Not only was I tested and seen by the doctor in a timely manner, I got out in time to get to where I needed to go with 10 minutes to spare!

Wanna start with - I love Middletown Medical, only reason this is a 2 star and not 1. Around here I’ve had a lot of bad doctors and most of the good ones I’ve had worked at Middletown Medical. Went to urgent care last night and receptionist told me the Doctor said get a new thermometer, my low temp was “impossible” Doctor didn’t even see me. I’m assuming it’s because I came in late, got there around 5:25 when they close at 6. I just want that doctor to know I went out right after I left there bought a new thermometer (just doing that my reynauds got really horrible I had to go straight home) and I’ve tested my old thermometer against the brand new one, and the old one is accurate. Urgent care, Dr Christopher Roman, I will NEVER go to this Urgent care again! I've had issues with this Dr EVERY time I've been there, and I am done!! Rude Dismissive Uninterested No compassion Seemed like we were a bother. My son fell down a flight of stairs Saw my son for maybe three minutes, came in and just seemed annoyed that we were even here, automatically thought he wanted a note for school, didn't even examine the part of his leg that was hurting. Did not take his shoe off to look at anything, all he did was touch below the knee ( not even where the pain was ) asked if he can walk on it, my son said yes, but it really hurts ( his pain was around an 8 or 9 ) Roman said it not broken, but we will do an xray. Dr Bernice is a very thorough doctor, she takes her time with her patients. She will get to the root of the problem. hands down the best primary care doctor I’ve ever had! Im never switching.

If it wasn't for the fact I love my doctor, I would not go here anymore. The nurses are mostly okay, but tend to forget to call in scripts a lot. Also, Its EXTREMELY difficult to get ANYONE to answer the phones there. I can call several times and no one ever picks up!
