MyMichigan Emergency Department

I came into the ER at 2 AM complaining about my heart Racing every time I would almost fall asleep. It was causing me to cough, and it felt like there was fluid around my heart. I could feel a rumbling in my chest every time my heart would beat. I also was complaining about very sore body aches. The first male nurse before even checking my heart rate said, “You probably had this your whole life and didn’t even know it.” I would know for sure if I ever had anything like this. I finally see the doctor and they check my EKG and heart rate, And said there is nothing wrong with me, No blood test or anything like that or any other tests. It felt like they were just trying to push me out of there as fast as possible with zero care . I was sent home with Nothing to help or any idea of what was goi

The care I received from the emergency department was beyond amazing. The ambulance got to my house before I could even process what was going on with my daughter when she had Her first seizure. While I was on my way to the hospital some folks stayed behind to make sure that the family at my house were OK after what had happened. Before the ambulance got to my house a police officer stormed through the door with gloves on his hands getting ready to do whatever he had to 💗 She is now perfectly healthy and well thanks to them.

Horrible experience. Staff was rude . Extremely unprofessional. Dr gluck especially stood out with his Horrible bedside manners . Next time I'll drive to a different er.

Priority sucks. You could be dying and you still be last
