My mother has been seeing Dr. Patel for about a year. Seems he is too busy to be concerned about his patients health. Cancelled my mother's appointment last month because he was over booked. She ran out of medicine and the office would not refill without her seeing Dr. Patel. Then when she does get in to see him, and she is out of her heart medicine, he tries to pawn her off to his assistant. My mother said no she had an appointment with Dr. Patel. So he came into the room and insisted her primary care doctor start writing her heart medicine refills. He had a huff and then walked out. Does that sound like the kind of doctor you want treating your mother let alone yourself. Shouldn't your cardiologist take a few minutes with you finding out how your heart health is? Maybe instead of

Dr. Nehu Patel has treated my parents over the last 8 years. When my late father was still with us Dr. Patel would come to the hospital to see my father without fail even if the treatment was not cardiology. Dr. Patel is a very caring individual that cares deeply for all of his patients, he takes his time on diagnosis and treatment options. Dr. Patel is also a pioneer in the local community with his efforts and often volunteers his time at no cost to help seniors with their medical needs at various health clinics on weekends.

Hope you have better LUCK than we did. Referred for possible calcification of arteries. We were told that 3 tests would be ordered, and that we would be contacted to schedule. One test was scheduled. The other two were not, so when next we saw the Dr., he again told us the 2 tests would be scheduled. One was, the other was declined as insurance said we did not need it. Next visit he scheduled another test, which did happen. Finally got the results SEVEN months after being referred to him. Results were good. SEVEN months, two missed tests, two dropped appointments, and a frazzled PA who had no clue as to why we were there means we will not recommend this doctor's practice to anyone. Hope you have better LUCK.
