Miss Nellie was honestly the BEST phlebotomy teacher. She was supportive, patient, and really knew how to explain things in a way that actually made sense. Even with parts of the class being online, she stayed involved and made sure we didn’t feel lost. In lab, she created a comfortable space to learn, practice, and ask questions without feeling judged. She truly cared about our success and always encouraged us to do our best. I’m really thankful I had her as an instructor.

I had an amazing experience at Northeast Medical Institute, especially working with Nellie. The training was very clear, structured, and straight to the point, which made learning so much easier and less overwhelming. Everything was explained in a way that actually sticks, and the hands-on approach really prepares you for real-world situations—not just passing an exam. Nellie is incredibly knowledgeable, supportive, and motivating. She truly wants her students to succeed and makes sure everyone understands the material before moving on. The environment is professional but also encouraging, which helped build my confidence throughout the program. What I appreciated most is how efficient and focused the training is—you’re not wasting time, you’re learning exactly what you need to succeed.

I loved it so much!! The classes were so interesting and engaging and everything was very easy to learn. The instructor’s were so sweet and Jennifer was so attentive to the details and making sure everyone got a chance to learn and understand the material. Mendesa also was super encouraging and took the time to help all of us! super great program and would recommend to everyone!!

Miss Nellie is the best phlebotomy educator, you can tell she genuinely wants her students to succeed and know the ins and outs. She managed to make the labs fun while still making sure we were doing everything correctly. Her years of experience in the field really shows through the way she teaches. I’m so grateful I got to experience this with her as my guide.

I had a great experience at Northeast Medical Institute. I completed both the EKG course and the Phlebotomy course, and both were excellent. My instructor for both classes was Nellie Russotto, and she was amazing. She explained everything clearly, taught at a comfortable pace, and made sure everyone understood the material. She was always patient and took the time to answer every question. I felt supported throughout the entire learning process and would highly recommend the program to anyone interested in healthcare training.
