Northern Idaho Advanced Care Hospital

I have just been a patient at the above fabulous facility. I wish to note that not only is the staff the most professional and worthy of their skills. But also this is one of the best run hospitals I’ve ever been in and I’ve been in quite a few the last few years in fact, every hospital in this area of Coeur d’Alene Post Falls in Spokane, with the exception of holy family, it goes without saying that I would come back here in any moment that I needed this kind of care I wish to formally think each, and everyone of the staff and employees of this facility for their care and fabulous attitude. Thank you again.

I'm so very thankful for this facility. I was there for approx 7 weeks. During that time I think I interacted with everyone in every department. At all times (even when I might not have deserved it) I was treated with kindness, understanding, compassion and respect. I found it to be a very well organized & efficient facility. The food was amazing as well. Many went out of their way to go to battle for me both with care & insurance issues. I found it to be a very pleasant experience considering the circumstances. Cyndie

My mother was a patient at NIACH for about 2 months. The physical therapy was decent, she got between a half hour and hour per weekday, and a few exercises to do in-between. The nursing and personal care was very negligent. The nurses and PCTs are drastically understaffed, even in the intensive care area the PCTs were 1:8 patients, and the nurses were 1:4. In the rehab section the PCTs were 1:8 or 1:10. The nurses are usually staffed at 1:8. All the nurses have time to do is give meds. It also means that a patient who cannot get up to use the bathroom has to soil themselves -they use diapers-and wait for 45 minutes to sometimes over an hour for a change. That is with pressing the call button every 30 minutes. The PCT at the nurses station gets annoyed when one does that. The nurses usually

My husband was a rehabilitation inpatient at this facility. When he went in he could not stand or walk. Two weeks later and he can stand, walk, and climb stairs. The PT and OT Bailey and Rachel were amazing. Dr Drake stopped by every day to check on his progress and pain. We highly recommend this facility and will be ever grateful for their help.

Great OT and PT with Rachel and Bailey. Ten plus. So grateful for their endeavors in helping me. The nursing staff is also ten plus. Doctors Drake and Foster are top notch. Best rehab in Idaho v
