Northwell Health Physician Partners Endocrinology at East 59th Street

Dr. Lucy Shi and staff were amazing. I came in with a nose fracture several months ango and wanted a second opinion on getting it re-adjusted. They quickly squeezed me in for an appointment and were very quick with the procedure, and now my nose is back to normal! The staff was very pleasant and friendly all throughout the office. I wanted to take the chance to shout out this office— Dr. Shi, Matthew (nurse), and the front desk were wonderful people (Zoe, Ashley, and Darianna). Keep up the good work!

I have had extreme trouble having a simple, routine prescription renewed. Messages went back and forth several times with the useless pharmacy insisting for weeks that it had reached out three times and heard nothing. I was left in the middle, wasting my time, when this should have been between Northwell and the pharmacy. Finally today it was fixed. This indicates that both had insufficient regard for the patient, who comes first and needed the medication. A "zero" rating for Northwell.

Do not go to this place. Calling this office is impossible; they never answer calls to their phone number. Every time you call, you have to wait for hours before the machine automatically puts you on callback. If I could, I would give this office -999999999 stars.

Update(1.12.2025): I've met several physicians here but I've been seeing NP, RN Grossman for a while and she's such a good listener and gives me good advice. She's very cheerful and I like seeing her. I recommend her. Old review: Somehow they like cancelling my appointments. This is 3rd time they cancelled by them. This time I have already confirmed my appointment with a text message two days before. However, they called me less than 20 hours before my appointment and left me a voice message and said "You have an appointment tomorrow but the doctor won't be at the office tomorrow so please reschedule your appointment." They could've said sorry or something but there's nothing or no reason they cancelled.

This place is an absolute joke! I had an 8am appointment (1st of the day). They sent me 4 text messages in the days leading up to the appointment reminding me to be here 15 minutes early. I arrived promptly at 7:45. There was no one behind the desk but the doors were wide open. So in I came. After 15 minutes (now 8am) someone came in and tried to throw the 3 of us waiting out again b/c no one was in the office. Well it’s 8:15 now and I’m still waiting for my 8am appointment. Ironic because they have a 15 minute policy whereby if you don’t show by 15 mins past your scheduled appointment time, they will cancel you appointment and charge you for it.
