As my first visit to this place it was really upsetting listening to comments from the doctor for how many kids I have and making comments about caos in my house!! I came here to look for care for my kids not to be judged for having 4 kids and a pet!
We just switched to (and had our first visit with) Northwest Hills Pediatrics and I am extremely happy with our new patient experience. Our first visit happened to be a non-routine, time-sensitive appointment and they were able to get us in within hours of making contact with them. I was given clear instructions how to get to their office (which wouldn’t have been intuitive otherwise), check in was easy, they saw us promptly, and the provider, Alley Weir, was truly wonderful with my daughter (so much so that I would happily drive to Torrington (30 minutes away) vs. our “home office” Avon (5 minutes away).
I’m very pleased with my son’s treatment at NWHP ❤️. Always quick to get him in and my mind is always put at ease by staff.
The best pediatric office! Wonderful staff and doctors who are great with my son, and always give him the best care. The front office, back office, nursing team and doctors/PA's are outstanding, and I highly recommend them! They have been taking care of my boy since he was 2, and it's going to be a sad day when he has to go to the adult office instead.
We absolutely love Ally Weir at the practice – she's been fantastic. However, our experience with the rest of the team has been very disappointing. They rarely listen to our concerns and often make us feel like we don’t know what we’re talking about, which is incredibly frustrating. On top of that, their billing department is a complete mess. We’ve been miss-billed at least four times, and they’ve sent claims to the wrong insurance companies at least three times. It’s been such a hassle trying to get things straightened out. The only reason we’ve stuck around this long is because of Ally. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience has made us question whether it’s worth it anymore.
