Excellent Doctor, Unacceptable and Surprising "Facility Fee" Billing My cardiologist was truly exceptional, providing expert care. However, I will no longer use Nuvance due to unacceptable surprise billing. Potential patients must be aware of this office’s billing practices, which are a direct consequence of its affiliation with the hospital system. Despite receiving my service in a standard medical office, I was charged a massive, unexpected "Facility Fee" running into the thousands of dollars for the simple act of reading the test. While my insurance paid a large portion, I was still left with a surprise bill of nearly $500. This highly questionable fee structure makes an otherwise routine procedure exorbitantly expensive and demonstrates a complete disregard for patient financial trans

If every doctors office had a medical staff and knowledge this one does, the world we be filled with feeling like you matter and worth the best possible care. I was admitted to the hospital last month having a heart attack. I specifically went to St Luke’s because I knew these Drs covered there). As expected, the knowledge, bedside manner, and listening skills were beyond a rating. I know I was in good hands (and Gods hands), so I didn’t worry when they told me I needed heart surgery. Follow care has been impeccable, as well.

I'm having heart problems and I have to wait 4 months to see the heart doctor I've had for a decade because Nuisance owns it now, and they are "here for us"? And when I question it the girl on the phone says "this isn't a redi-care.... Because you might as well hurl an insult at me? I'm going to miss Dr Respass, best doctor I ever had. Avoid nuisance health.

John Portelli has been my cardiologist for several years now. He is an amazing person, and I am glad he is my doctor. I’ve had several times where he has called me late in the evening in order to get back to me which to me is unheard of. He is amazing at explaining difficult heart issues in layman‘s terms. Excellent Facility, Dr Patrello is very knowledgeable and caring in the welfare of his patiences as i am one. The office staff is very Professional courteous and attentive. I Never have a problem booking appointments. They saved my life during cardiac arrest. So if you have Cardiac issues or just need a cardiologist for a check up or Test's I definitely recommend you come here, you will not be disappointed.ENJOY....
