NYU Langone Hospital - Suffolk (formerly Long Island Community Hospital LICH)

My mother recently had a partial thyroid removal at NYU Langone in Patchogue, and I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about this hospital. The experience was incredible from start to finish. Every staff member we encountered was kind, attentive, and compassionate from the moment we checked in until the moment she was discharged. I wish I remembered all of the nurses’ names, because they were all amazing, but one nurse in particular stood out in the PACU — Catharine. She took such great care of my mom, made her laugh, and had such a warm sense of humor that instantly put us at ease. She made us feel like family during a stressful time. Anastasia Davidov is an exceptional caring nurse. She treats patients with compassion, patience and genuine kindness. She also finds time to ensure that family members feel heard, supported, fully informed, and have everything they may need. She cared for my mother during her ER visit and we could not have asked for better standard of care. Her optimism, warmth, and sense of humor are truly uplifting making patients and family members feel safe, confident and less anxious at times of crisis. She really loves her job and it shines through.

I went here last year, ER room visit went really well. They saw me quickly, ran test, treated me for my pain and referred me back to my doctor. I was very confident about the care I received. The ER staff were concerned and supportive. I also had a colonoscopy here as well the staff was superb. Staff was very nice. 🫡🫶✌️
