OHI Little Egg Harbor Health Center - (Ocean Health Initiatives, Inc.)

We took our two toddlers to the dentist in the summer it worked out great. My kids were excited for the visit because they saw a cartoon about going to the dentist and it really made them very interested. The dentist was very calm and gentle with my kids and it went by super fast. The reception desk was great and they gave the kids several stickers. I'm not sure what people are talking about not getting appointments? We are able to get appointments right away. If you call when they first open you can get in right away.

We had great experiences in the past but lately, not as much. My child had pneumonia and a follow up visit was necessary but they never have appointments! You wait on hold for a half hour only to have a receptionist with zero “people skills” on the other line. We like the np at the practice, but you can’t get in to see her!

I actually liked this place until recently. I went there throughout my pregnancy and for the first 6 months after my daughter was born. After that, they never called to remind me of her regular wellness visits, they used to send text reminders! They are never available when you need them, as their pediatric office is only available a few days a week. My daughter was recently sick and instead of being able to take her to see her doctor (they close super early) I had to take her to the emergency room. I have been trying to switch doctors, but I need my daughter's records and I have called multiple times over the last week, the phone rings once and goes straight to voicemail. I have left my name and number each time and still have not gotten a response! Once I get the records I will NEVER go

New to the area and needed a primary care doctor and I am so happy I chose OHI! From pre-registration to on-site care, they were all lovely and made the process easy for me. Got seen right away for my appointment. Definitely recommend!

I enjoy going to this location only (even though I live in manahawkin) because I really appreciate Dr. Lucyna's (polish provider) bedside manner and the time she takes with her patients. I don't mind seeing Dr. Aversa if she isn't available. I don't care if I have NJ Familycare, no insurance, or the best private insurance, I will still come here. One of the biggest reasons I enjoy this office is because of their office medical assistant Jeanie. She is so sweet, thorough, and very professional. I look forward to seeing her when I go in for an appointment because she makes me feel comfortable and treats me with respect and dignity (she deserves public recognition). Wonderful office staff is what compliments the providers services and makes all the difference in patient retention!
