Pediatric Surgery MassGeneral for Children

I took my daughter there to see the allergist. The doctor was good. Nancy and Jessica were beyond rude (I wish I read all these reviews before going, I would have been more prepared to treat them the same way they are treating other people). I knew my daughter's appointment was coming up and realized I didn't have it on my calendar, so I called them to confirm date and times. Jessica picked up the phone, and she was very unprofessional, made me feel like she was doing me a favor for checking the calendar. When I expressed she was being rude, she HANG up on me! I couldn't believe it - I immediately called back and Nancy picked up, I asked to go back to speaking with Jessica and she said she was on another call (I pretended I believed her). Giving a one star not because of the doctor but because of the RUDE receptionist Nancy. Not once not twice but three times this woman was rude . One time I called to get my daughter some more samples of the new formula she was on because her doctor had told me if I needed more not to go out and buy any but to call her and they’ll give me more . So I called and the receptionist Nancy picked up and asked who I was calling for and why I was calling . So I explained to her what the doctor had told me . She told me to come later in the afternoon because noon time she goes on lunch (that wasn’t a problem with me) so I head on my way (I live about an hour away) I call her when I’m 5 mins away to let her know I’ll be there soon . I go in and she only gives me two samples . And proceeded to tell me

I brought my nephew there to see the allergist and the medical assistant Jessica who performed the testing was amazing. She explained everything clearly and had excellent bed side manner! Nancy greeted us politely and had his follow up all written down before I checked out. I told my sister Mass General for Children in Braintree was a hidden gem!

Great customer service. The Patient Services Coordinator was amazing. She knew so much about all the different insurances and she got me where my child needed to go. I couldn't have done it without Nancy!!

The doctor and receptionist are very rude I wouldn’t recommend going here the one in Boston is better .
